SiteREADY provided technology project management services during the infrastructure upgrade of our client’s existing 10,000 square-foot office space. This three month long project accommodating 50 employees was completed in September 2014.
We were presented with a number of different obstacles during the delivery of the project; including the “give-back” of office space that previously housed several vital technology components. The scope of work included upgrading the existing low-voltage cabling, wireless access points, and backup circuits; as well as the installation of new network equipment, soundmasking, audio visual equipment, phone systems and workstations. SiteREADY monitored vendor work throughout construction over several project milestones, while working in coordination with other project partners.
The project team leaders were SiteREADY’s Tony Roberts, who served as Infrastructure Engineering Lead, and Ash Simpson, who served as Project Manager.“
This project was unique as we had to determine how to utilize as much of the existing technology infrastructure as possible, while still incorporating new infrastructure design to accommodate space renovations, audio visual upgrades, and creating a "give-back" space without disruption to the employees,” said Tony Roberts. “We created a specific and strategic scope of work for the vendors and collectively the SiteREADY team was able to turn over a successful project while staying under budget.”
